Both Amazon and Ignatius claim the book won't be released until Thursday. Amazon claims my copy should be here by Monday next week. The Kindle edition is being embargoed until Tuesday next week.
Oh, good! I shall have to order it soon -- perhaps next paycheck, if gas doesn't go further up! In the meantime, I think it'll read the first volume again. I do like the Pope of Rome Dr. Benedict, you know. ;-)

It is interesting to me how much thicker the Ignatius volume is than the Doubleday volume, even though they contain approximately the same number of pages.
I'm looking forward to your "online bookclub reading" of this volume -- when were you thinking of starting that?
It really is! What do you think of the print? I personally like it.
As for the online bookclub reading, I hope to start sometime next week. I am going to spend some time today reading it. Work has been busy and the baby has the flu, so free time has been premium as of late.

I must say, the covers of these "Jesus" books are true eye candy.
I look forward to the discussion to be had concerning the book over the next few weeks as it may enhance my later reading of the book.

It is clear to me that in terms of bookmaking, Ignatius did a better job than Doubleday with these two volumes. This volume is a pleasure to read.
