Nice! I was afraid that this book would not open flat (which is my main criteria in a book -- especially a long book like the Bible) but it looks like your book does not have that problem.

May I ask, how long did the rebinding take (from your order to delivery of the final volume)?

Thanks again for sharing this with us.

Keep in mind that I had a number of orders and all during the 4-5 weeks before Christmas. So it took about that long total. A single volume, when they are not slammed, probably takes closer to 3-4 weeks. I have not had a bible "repaired" by Leonard's so I don't know what that does to the time.

I was very excited to share mostly because I think Leonard's is such an incredible resource for upgrading the "packaging" of the WORD of GOD. Pax Christi. wcg

Again, I have to say that Bible looks great! I was expecting the cost to be well over $190 dollars, but that actually seems really reasonable.

I might consider spending the cash to get one of my Bibles rebound if I wasn't constantly toggling back and forth between them.... Most of the classes I attend at my parish use the RSV-CE, then there's RSV-2CE for Bible studies, D-R for Mass, adoration, and prayer, and the NOAB RSV frequently for on-the-go study and evangelism. Of those listed above, I would like to see the RSV-2CE rebound most of all, not because of the icons on the cover (I don't mind those), but because the Leonard’s cover is so much nicer and would lie flat. But I think I will refrain from doing so, because when the Ignatius Study Bible is released, I have a feeling my RSV-2CE might be permanently shelved...
