This was good timing, I pre-ordered this book. I am going to Loyola Marymount University in LA tomorrow for a seminar called, 'The Saint John's Bible in Word, Art and Music'. It is 4.5 hour event which includes musical performances, readings and presentations from staff and students. Suzanne Moore (St. John's Bible illuminator)will also be there. LMU has a Heritage Edition copy of the Saint John's Bible on campus, but I have never seen it.

This blog is evil. It's a constant near occasion to sin ;-) LOL and I will simply have to keep laughing because my wallet simply must keep its mouth shut.

More reason to prayer for me, since I am the facilitator of your sin! :)

Wow, those Heritage Editon Bible books (all 7 of them) are beautiful! The Saint John's Bible seminar was very nice. Those Bible books are available at LMU's library for examination by appointment.

Rolf,

I am glad you saw them. They are simply amazing and deserve greater attention.

I agree, there is something about feeling and turning those pages, feeling the leather that makes you appreciate fine Bible editions!
