Thanks for the video clip, Timothy! And thanks for the 2017 release date, Christopher. As a huge fan of the NLT I am SO frustrated that it's out there, but not yet here in USA. Hopefully other editions will also come out in USA as I REALLY want to get that blue faux-leather one they show in the clip!
I am super curious about his Bible. Also, super confused. Why would it take so long to sell a Bible already translated into English here? Localization?
I'm also confused as how to order. All the pricing also seem to be in Rupees. Maybe I'm just a dumb?
I like the NLT, and I've had the pleasure of exploring the NLT:CE for a couple months now. My only criticism of the NLT:CE is political and is actually more a criticism of the American Catholic Church - this would have never happened in the USA, it took the action of Catholics in India to make it happen (both the translation work and the imprimatur). I'm very grateful that Indian Catholics stepped up and made this happen, and further I hope that it enjoys some success in the American Catholic market.
