I have, Tim, about two months ago, and the notes HAVE been updated to fit the NAB(RE). It is the bonded leather edition. I was fortunate enough to find one at a Christian store, and it had some page folding so they gave me a 40% discount, which was generous.
That is great to hear. Of course, the problem is knowing that the copy you buy or order is the updated one. Online orders may be tricky and some stores may not let you open up a bonded leather edition to check. Good news though!
That's a really good point. There was no indication on the cardboard sleeve it came in that it was updated. I found out by looking in it (was curious because of your previous post about it not having updated notes at the time). I am wondering if the ISBN would be different? I could look at it when I get home and let you know if there are any indications that would help.
I really like the Bible, but disappointed it didn't come in genuine leather like the earlier, pre-NAB(RE) ones did. I am very impressed with the layout of the Didache NABRE so am spending more time in it lately.
I bought a hardback copy of 'The Catholic Study Bible' a month or two ago and it also has "grain offering" on page 128. I just ordered a bonded leather copy from christianbook.com and it should be here next week. I will let you know what that has in it. I have made this my main study Bible.

On a slightly related subject, do you or any of your readers know of any Catholic or Ecumenical Study Bibles that are in ebook format?
I've only come across two that I know of; The Little Rock Catholic Study Bible and the fourth edition of Oxford's Annotated Study Bible. And the Oxford isn't really an ebook but - I believe - a digital copy of their print version. I'm tempted to buy both of them, even though I already have an earlier Oxford edition because at my age I tired of reading small fonts on very thin pages. Plus, I love the ease of the in text links and notes in a true ebooks and the light weight of my iPad. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

John, I have two study Bibles on my ipad/iPhone that I purchased through the Olive Tree Bible Study app. I have the Catholic Study Bible and The New Interpreters Study Bible. You purchase the Study Bible notes and the translations separately, then you can hyper-link the study notes to what ever translation you want. I can use the NRSV or the REB with The New Interpreters Study Bible notes. It has worked well for me, there is also Verbum that you can check out.
I ordered the Catholic Study Bible on March 12, 2014 and my reading guide is updated.
I looked at the box and there's no indication that it is the updated one, and the copyright is 2011. Hopefully any they are selling now will be updated.
I received my bonded leather Catholic Study Bible today and it also has been updated.
I am getting a quote from Leonard's about a rebind for this Bible. I think this will be my main study Bible for awhile.
