Just a quick clarification for anyone who is interested: The discounted gift edition is a bonded leather-wrapped hardcover. The bonded leather softcover, which Timothy and Chris reviewed a couple weeks ago is called the "Personal Edition." Both have the same page format.
As much as I would like to get the Personal Edition at 40% off...I am going to save my bucks for that New Testament that was announced here the other day. Not THAT seems like a different NABRE to get and am hoping it might be useful for RCIA and/or Confirmation classes.
It's not a bad deal, but I already own 3 paper copies of the NABRE, and an e-book edition, can't really justify buying another one, at least not before 2025 when the revised NT is scheduled to be released.
