Here is the text of Father Senior's paper (the video consists of Senior reading the paper; and it is often easier for me to read a paper myself than to listen to someone else read it.)
Here is the USCCB document ("Preaching the Mystery of Faith: The Sunday Homily") which Senior is discusses at length in the video.
Here is a positive review of that USCCB document; here is a more mixed review.
I have had Father Senior as an instructor for a class on The Gospel of Matthew and have attended his seminars at The Religious Education Congress in Anaheim, CA over the last seven years. Next weekend I have him for two more seminars at the 2014 Religious Ed. Congress. Father Senior is an excellent teacher, I always leave his presentations inspired that God's Word is alive and active in the Church!
Excellent piece, Timothy! Every priest and proclaimer of the Word should benefit from this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the time and heart you put into this blog. It is a gift, and appreciated.
