A bit off the subject, but I was wondering if you - or any of your readers - know anything about the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible? And if so, what your opinion of it is.
I came across it recently while searching for free Catholic ebooks. Apparently, it's a one person translation of the Clementine Vulgate. But other than that, I don't know much about it. Nor have I seen any reviews of it.
Dar Timothy, Thank you for publishing this chart. I have often found it difficult to explain the differences to students. This graphic (and imbedded materials) will help.Other materials like this would also be welcome. Daniel Norman McNamara

John,
ReplyDeleteI am aware of it, but have never really spent a lot of time looking at. How about you?

Well, for me that would be a good guide for rference to the Clementine Vulgate, just in case you don't understand Latin.
