That is an area where the RSV or NRSV have a clear advantage over it. Though it is...I would have voted for the RSVCE too. Though it isn't perfect, it is clearly far superior to the NAB, a truly terrible translation in my opinion. In fact, I don't know too many people who have worked in Hebrew and Greek who really love the NAB. I think the fact that Rome chose the RSVCE for the Catechism is really significant.
